THE LABYRINTH
THE LABYRINTH
CREATIVE JOURNEYS THROUGH INNER & OUTER LANDSCAPES
THE LABYRINTH
The Labyrinth is a series of guided creative and transformational journeys unfolding in the forest.
Inspired by the ancient and profound form of the labyrinth, a path that leads inward towards a centre before carrying us outward again, each experience begins with a different invitation.
We might enter expressing emotions similar to Waters Within. Walk without naming what we see. Search for ourselves in the forms of the natural world. Offer blessings as we move through the landscape. Photograph, make, move, listen, wander or simply spend time in silence.
Some journeys may unfold over hours, others over a day. Photography, self-portraiture and other creative practices may become part of the path, and some experiences may invite us to return to the images together afterwards. We always reconnect online after our journey to share, to check in and reflect.
The form may change. The walk remains carrying its wisdom from the forest, out into the world.
The forest is not simply where the experience takes place.
It becomes part of the encounter.
Location: Forest of Fontainebleau, France.
"The labyrinth is a place of connection, where one can feel at one with oneself, with others, and with the universe."

“With a labyrinth, you make a choice to go in - and once you’ve chosen, around and around you go. But you always find your way to the centre.

“We began by walking in silence through the forest, and it was a deeply soothing moment. I felt grounded, as if I had made the right decision by coming. A quiet certainty rose in me: I am on my path. Emotions stirred, and I felt a profound connection with the forest, and with myself within it.

“Julia knew how to help me move beyond my fears, guiding me with confidence, empathy and deep listening. I have a very difficult relationship with my own image, and letting go is extremely hard for me. And yet, I allowed myself to be drawn into this exploration of myself and of others, with nature as a guiding force. I came away feeling confident and proud.”
